Building Interfaith Community
In January, members of a diverse group of Fairbanks faith communities met for soup and joy-filled conversation on how we can make our community stronger by uniting in faith, combining our efforts in earth care and care for others, and working together.
New and old friends gathered to celebrate the positive actions already being taken throughout Fairbanks faith communities on behalf of the earth and vulnerable people, and to discuss what the future of interfaith climate organizing could look like in our community. Members of the Interfaith working group also shared the sign-on letter from faith communities drafted in support of the Borough Climate Action Plan.
To sign on to the letter as a person of faith or on behalf of a faith community, go to the link in our bio.
